Jane Bloodgood-Abrams "I am continually inspired by the beauty of the Hudson Valley and its artistic heritage, in particular, the Hudson River School, Luminists and Tonal painters. My paintings also represent my personal or spiritual experience of the landscape. These works are my response to those particular moments of "heaven on earth," and are created through my quest for a more intimate union with the land. Through painting nature, I seek to connect with something beyond everyday life. Landscape painting becomes my tool for conveying the essence, mystery, and spirit of nature. |
